Words
and pictures are the two main elements used to communicate.
Words
(type) give designers the opportunity to work with thousands of
fonts. Font, style, size, value, space, and color are used to create
pleasing design.
Pictures
(visuals) are used to help us “read”
written ideas and images. They give designers infinite possibilities
to work with color, shapes, and images to support what’s being
said with the type design.
