2.14 Health Services

Alexandria Technical College provides students with a health service resource through our school nurse. Health services are provided to students to help maintain physical and emotional health. The school nurse is available during the hours as posted on the door to Student Health Services.

The Health Services Office provides first aid care for injuries and temporary treatment for minor illness. The school nurse can also provide students with names of local physicians and clinics and assist in making appointments if necessary. When accident or illness requires medical attention beyond the scope available from the Health Services Office, professional help is available from the area clinics or the emergency room at the hospital.
