Introduction to Lean Healthcare
This workshop is designed for those looking to gain an understanding of what LEAN is and how it can be applied to their specific Health Care organization. As the government continues to pressure the healthcare industry to reduce costs, an increasing number of healthcare organizations are turning to Lean as a system for effectively improving efficiencies. This workshop will review the fundamental principles and some of the foundational tools of lean, and examine specific case studies that demonstrate just how effective Lean is in healthcare. This workshop is recommended for anyone interested in learning how Lean and Six Sigma can and is being applied in Health Care organizations.
