Quality
Description
Quality has become a given expectation of any organization desiring success. Service or production based organizations alike must compete on quality. Although the specific measures of quality may differ from organization to organization, the methodologies and tools to assess and improve quality are consistent. From basic quality charting, to the methods for gathering consistent and valid data, the use of proven quality practices and principles is an essential part of an effective organization. Built upon the work of quality founding fathers such as Deming, Juran, Ishikawa, and Feigenbaum, from quality control through Total Quality Management, the use of quality methodologies and tools has become an everyday necessity for today’s successful organizations.
