Scholarships

The ATC Foundation awards more than $150,000 in student support and scholarships each year. ATC ranked (among MnSCU colleges): 2nd largest amount of scholarship dollars awarded and 2nd largest contributions from business and industry.

General Information

• Awards are disbursed to high school graduates or equivalent.
• ATC Foundation scholarship awards are based on funds available.
• ATC Foundation scholarship awards are included in the total financial aid award.
• If a scholarship recipient terminates enrollment prior to disbursement, he or she relinquishes rights to further benefit under the award.
• Scholarships identified are known as of 11/20/09.

Selection Committee/Criteria

The selection committee is made up of ATC faculty/staff/retirees, community representatives, and program/industry partners.

Awards are based on:

• Scholastic Achievement (grades)
• Personal Applicant Information/Career Goals Essay
• Letter of Recommendation (from ATC website)

Notification/Disbursement

All applicants are notified of awards within 4 weeks of the deadline date. (exception: Re-entering Adult Scholarship)
