Background:

David was introduced to the construction trade by his older brother and began working as a laborer at the age of fourteen. He continued to work summers as a laborer until completion of high school, when he began his career as bricklayer/concrete finisher/builder.

Education:

• Graduated from Wadena High School – Wadena, MN
• Graduated from Detroit Lakes Area Vocational & Technical Institute with a two year diploma in Residential Construction
   

Occupational Background:

• Partner/owner in Malone Construction Inc. Specializing in Residential, Agricultural and light Commercial construction.
• Moved to Alaska in mid eighties and introduced to large commercial construction, working in the areas of concrete pouring/finishing and block masonry
• Own and maintain Malone Masonry specializing in brick/stone fireplaces and exterior masonry veneers
• Concrete Mason instructor at Alexandria Technical and Community College since the programs beginning in 2002 to present
   

Memberships:

• Member of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers of Minnesota and presently carry endorsements in brick, block, stone and cement
