The program combines academic classes with an internship and active participation in Delta Epsilon Chi (DEX), the largest national marketing student organization. Students in the Professional Sales program spend two semesters mastering coursework in selling principles, advertising, business ownership, computer applications, speech, communications, and accounting. In addition, they learn merchandising and marketing techniques, and experience opportunities to grow in self-confidence and self-esteem. Upon completion of the classroom studies, students benefit from a supervised internship where they can apply the knowledge they have learned in the classroom. Interns are guided by both an ATC instructor and an on-the-job mentor. The Diploma programs range from 30 to 72 semester credits and focus primarily on technical courses. The two-year diploma includes a minimum of 11 semester credits of general education as well as the required technical credits.
