Peace officer duties include patrol, criminal and traffic investigation, identification duties, communications, traffic law enforcement, civil process, water safety, court duties, jail and detention operations, and public relations.
Job opportunities are found both in and outside of the state of Minnesota. ATCC graduates often take positions in Police Departments, Sheriff's Departments, the Department of Natural Resources, and the Minnesota State Patrol. Our graduates have found successful careers in multiple agencies across the United States.
