BookstoreThe ATCC Foundation Bookstore provides textbooks for courses offered by ATCC instructors.

For all classes being taken from a different college, visit DistanceMN.org; click on "course list" to see a list of textbook required by all participating colleges. To find the appropriate course materials,

  • Locate your course on the listing
  • Click the book icon in the right column

A new window will open showing author, ISBN, copyright year and publisher.

Online courses will require a textbook or online resource. It is IMPORTANT that you have the required texts on the first day of class to attain a strong start in your class work. There may be options available, including rental, e-books, or traditional textbooks. Each college will stock and sell required books for the online courses offered by their instructors.

Purchase Options

Students are responsible for the purchase of their books.

  • Online Bookstore
  • Purchase direct by visiting the bookstore in person at ATCC
  • Purchase using a credit or debit card or ATCC Foundation Gift Certificate
  • Purchase using student account: Charges will be added to student account and can be viewed on e-services
  • Financial aid can only be applied to costs incurred at the college awarding the aid
  • Students are responsible to satisfy any outstanding balance each semester at the ATCC Business Office
  • Students sponsored by third parties need to complete and submit a payer authorization to the business office at the college hosting the course
  • Distance PSEO students must complete authorization for payer.

Third Party Funding

Agencies such as CEP, DRS, JTPA and VA are examples of outside funding sources. Students are responsible to work with their contact person at these agencies and the ATCC Business Office to ensure the authorization to charge books.

  • Students sponsored by third parties need to complete and submit a payer authorization to the business office at the college hosting the course
  • Student must bring an official class schedule and inform the bookstore staff of their funding source.

PSEO is a funding source for current high school students.

  • Student must bring official schedule and inform bookstore staff that they are PSEO funded.
  • Distance PSEO Student must complete the Distance PSEO Book Order Form

Regardless of how students choose to pay for their textbooks, they are encouraged to purchase textbooks for Alexandria Technical & Community College courses at the ATCC Foundation Bookstore located in the main campus building, room 305 or online.
