Work Study Employment

Work study is a need based job program and eligibility is determined by completing the (FAFSA) Free Application for Federal Student Aid. During the academic year, students must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits to hold a work study position. To determine if you are eligible to obtain a work study job, contact the Financial Aid office.

A listing of current job opportunities is listed below. Jobs are on-campus or off-campus with non-profit employers. The hourly wage for all work study jobs is $11.50/hr. You can filter the view by category using the drop down list. Click view on the posting for more details. Purpose
To provide assistance to instructors in the shop area.
Duties
Duties may include, but are not limited to: cleaning and organizing shop/lab facilities, maintaining and repairing shop equipment as needed, working on various machines/projects, running errands, other duties as assigned by supervisor. Program-specific duties may include: Machining projects as assigned, filing fittings, welding, manufacturing.
Qualifications
All of the positions require a strong work ethic to include being dependable and punctual. Some positions will require the applicant to be in a certain program, a 2nd year student, have a specific skill, or have a higher level of mechanical ability than others depending on the position.
Comments
This position requires the applicant to be a 1st or 2nd year Mechatronics student.
