Work Study Employment

Work study is a need based job program and eligibility is determined by completing the (FAFSA) Free Application for Federal Student Aid. During the academic year, students must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits to hold a work study position. To determine if you are eligible to obtain a work study job, contact the Financial Aid office.

A listing of current job opportunities is listed below. Jobs are on-campus or off-campus with non-profit employers. The hourly wage for all work study jobs is $11.50/hr. To assist with setup and maintenance of Computer Science Division labs and assist Computer Science Instructors with office-type duties.
Lab duties vary from lab to lab, but generally consist of maintaining computers and computer equipment, software installation and maintenance, troubleshooting, cleanup, updating systems and other related duties.
Some positions require second year computer science student status, while others require only computer science enrollment. All positions require computer and software familiarity. Keyboarding skills and understanding of basic office computer skills. The student worker should possess the following personal traits: ability to maintain confidentiality, positive attitude, strong work ethic and reliable.
