Work Study Employment

Work study is a need based job program and eligibility is determined by completing the (FAFSA) Free Application for Federal Student Aid. During the academic year, students must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits to hold a work study position. To determine if you are eligible to obtain a work study job, contact the Financial Aid office.

A listing of current job opportunities is listed below. Jobs are on-campus or off-campus with non-profit employers. The hourly wage for all work study jobs is $11.50/hr. You can filter the view by category using the drop down list. Click view on the posting for more details. Purpose
To provide assistance to the Carpentry Instructors at ATCC.
Duties
Duties may include but are not limited to: Proofreading, correcting, grading papers using an answer key; word processing (keying in tests, worksheets); filing documents and maintaining instructional resources; keeping records and recording grades (computer and/or grade book); photocopying; running errands to include mail delivery and pickup from the main campus; organizing classroom/lab workstations and references; and collating documents.
Qualifications
All positions require the following characteristics: committed to customer service; strong work ethic to include being dependable and punctual; friendly; organized; positive attitude; willingness to learn new skills. Must have the ability to and/or possess the following skills: maintain confidentiality; work independently; alphabetize; proofread/edit; good grammar/spelling skills; knowledge or letter & memo styles; knowledge of office procedures & office equipment.
Comments
Will work around student's schedule, but dependability is a must.
