Work Study Employment

Work study is a need based job program and eligibility is determined by completing the (FAFSA) Free Application for Federal Student Aid. During the academic year, students must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits to hold a work study position. To determine if you are eligible to obtain a work study job, contact the Financial Aid office.

A listing of current job opportunities is listed below. Jobs are on-campus or off-campus with non-profit employers. The hourly wage for all work study jobs is $11.50/hr. To provide assistance to the Carpentry Instructors at ATCC.
Duties may include but are not limited to: Proofreading, correcting, grading papers using an answer key; word processing (keying in tests, worksheets); filing documents and maintaining instructional resources; keeping records and recording grades (computer and/or grade book); photocopying; running errands to include mail delivery and pickup from the main campus; organizing classroom/lab workstations and references; and collating documents.
All positions require the following characteristics: committed to customer service; strong work ethic to include being dependable and punctual; friendly; organized; positive attitude; willingness to learn new skills. Must have the ability to and/or possess the following skills: maintain confidentiality; work independently; alphabetize; proofread/edit; good grammar/spelling skills; knowledge or letter & memo styles; knowledge of office procedures & office equipment.
Will work around student's schedule, but dependability is a must.
