1.9 Use of Cell Phones, Camera Phones and Digital Cameras

To protect the learning environment, private information of students and the institution, and students' privacy, it is the policy of Alexandria Technical & Community College to prohibit the use of cell phones, camera phones and digital cameras during supervised classroom sessions, in departmental offices of the college and other locations of the college that display use restrictions specific to that area. Faculty responsible for the classroom or supervisors for an area may authorize specific use of the devices for a limited and temporary timeframe.

Students are responsible for the derivative uses of the digital content that they create.
