Commencement will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2026
We are looking forward to celebrating our graduates with an in-person Commencement ceremony on Wednesday, May 13 at the Runestone Community Center! The ceremony will begin at 1:00 pm and will honor
graduates of Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and Summer 2026.
Accessible parking will be available. Golf carts will be available to shuttle guests from general parking to the ceremony.
This event will be livestreamed for those who are not able to attend in person.
GRADUATES: Doors will open at 11:00 am and all grads should plan to arrive no later than 12:00 pm. No tickets or reservations required.

Where to Watch
Friends and family are welcome to attend this year's event in person at the Runestone Community Center in Alexandria, MN - no tickets or RSVP are required. Commencement Program

Caps + Gowns
Gowns are provided at no cost to grads, but must be returned after the ceremony. Caps/tassels will be yours to keep.
Graduation gowns can be picked up in room 308 (Student Life):
- Wednesday, May 6 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
- Thursday, May 7 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
- Monday, May 11 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Additional items:
- Students who are in PTK will be given stoles at gown pick-up, to be returned after the ceremony.
- Students who are military service members or veterans should request a Patriotic Cord to keep. Please request when you pick up your cap and gown.
- Students graduating with Honors will receive an Honors tassel.
Can't pick up early?
If you are unable to pick up your items on one of these days, please fill out this form to reserve your items.
Reserved items will be available for pick up from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm (prior to the ceremony) on May 13. A reminder email will be sent to you the Monday of Commencement week.
