ATCC alumnus Jacob Stifter is being recognized on the national stage after taking first place in the Two-Wheel Division at the 2026 Honda National Technician Contest. His success reflects both his hard work and the value of technical training in today’s workforce.

President Michael Seymour has been appointed to the Higher Learning Commission’s Institutional Actions Council, a national body recognizing leaders who shape higher education. His four‑year term begins September 1, 2026, marking another notable example of how campus leaders contribute their expertise beyond the college and bring valuable insight back to our community.

Alexandria Technical & Community College hosted the 11th annual NFPA Fluid Power Action Challenge on March 17, 2026, welcoming 48 middle school students from Ashby, Fergus Falls, Discovery Middle School (Alexandria), and Swanville. The event gives students hands-on exposure to fluid power concepts while exploring future careers in the industry.
