Hands-On Manufacturing Camps are 4-day camps for students entering grades 10-12.

Alexandria Technical & Community College is offering free learning experience camps in June for students entering grades 10-12 this fall. Throughout the camp, students will use Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) skills to plan, machine, weld and wire a Bluetooth speaker to take home.

**Please Note: Week of June 10, camp will be run Mon.-Thurs. Week of June 17 camp will be Mon./Tues. and Thurs./Fri. due to Juneteenth holiday on June 19.

  • Day 1: Mechanical Drafting, Design, & Engineering
  • Day 2: Machine Tool
  • Day 3: Welding
  • Day 4: Mechatronics

Each camp will be four days, with a max of 15 students per camp. This is a day camp - no campus housing is provided.

These camps are funded through the Perkins V Federal Grant in partnership with Alexandria Technical & Community College, making them FREE for all attendees.
