When our faculty member Karen Meuwissen was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease at 23, she knew stress was making her condition worse. That realization sparked a decades-long journey that has now culminated in her newly published book, Take 5: A 30 day stress reset to a calmer, happier you.

During the summer of 2025, the Alexandria College Police Training & Education Skills program once again provided students striving to be peace officers, the MN POST required hands-on practical education.

I started my time as President of Alexandria Technical and Community College on July 1, 2019—six years ago. Since then, much has been accomplished. Much has changed. But some things stay the same. Our top three strengths today are the same as I identified within my first two months on campus. We are special because of our reputation for quality, our community support, and our people.
