Higher education institutions across the country are facing uncertainty as conversations center on declining enrollment, rising costs, and the rapid evolution of AI. Yet here in Alexandria, a different story is unfolding.

Alexandria College was ranked the no. 1 community college in Minnesota and no. 10 nationally in WalletHub's 2026 Best & Worst Community Colleges rankings, reflecting ATCC's strong student success metrics, including a 78% graduation and transfer rate, a 99.4% related job placement rate, and a long-standing commitment to affordability, academic support, and workforce preparation.

ATCC welcomed more than 90 middle and high school students to campus throughout the summer for a series of hands-on camps designed to give students an early look at career fields, college programs, and the skills needed for each.

Driven by years of intentional investment and innovation, Alexandria College has achieved record-breaking FY2026 enrollment, strengthening its position as a destination college for students across Minnesota and beyond.

Fifteen Alexandria Technical & Community College (ATCC) SkillsUSA competitors traveled to Atlanta, Georgia, to compete in the 2026 SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference (NLSC), held June 1–6.
