Legends golfers named to MCAC All-Academic Team

203 student athletes from 19 states and six countries were named to the Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) Spring 2021 All-Academic Team.
Legends golfers named to the All-Academic team include:
  • Brandon Calverley, a 2021 Machine Tool Technology graduate from Barnum, MN.
  • Keenan Dahl, a 2021 Welding Technology graduate from Backus, MN
  • Abby Hamman, a Medical Laboratory Technician student from Slayton, MN.
  • Jenna Stetz, a Business Management Student from Pelican Rapids, MN.

Calverley, Hamman, and Stetz were among the student athletes who received golf scholarships in Fall 2020.

203 student athletes from 19 states and six countries were named to this spring's list. Recognized students combined athletic and academic accomplishments while competing during the 2020-2021 academic year; Students met sport-specific athletic requirements and maintained a cumulative grade point average at or above MCAC standards.

“Academics have, and always will be, the cornerstone of Alexandria College,” said Michael Seymour, President of Alexandria Technical & Community College. “I’m extremely proud of these Legends for showing competitive spirit on the course and in the classroom.”
