Alexandria College students win four top awards at SkillsUSA National competition

After earning 14 first-place awards at the SkillsUSA Minnesota competition, students from Alexandria Technical and Community College went on to win four medals at the National Skills and Leadership Conference.

Awards were conferred virtually June 28, 2021. Congratulations to our award winners!

2021 National Competition Results

Gold Medal:

  • Technical Drafting – Ethan Carruth, Mechanical Drafting, Design, & Engineering Technology student

Silver Medal:

  • CNC Technician – Taylor Johnson, Machine Tool Technology student
  • CNC Turning – Benjamin Hendrickx, Machine Tool Technology student

Bronze Medal:

  • Mechatronics – Ethan Schonberg & Thomas Nichols, Mechatronics students

2021 State Competition Results
