Alexandria College Legends Golf continued to impress at tournaments this past week.
Women’s team standout Abby Hamman shot a 79 to win the Lady Jays Invitational in Worthington on Wednesday, Sept. 29. Teammate Jenna Stetz took third with a 105.
“Abby is a great player and even though this was a small tournament, it was great for her to get another round in before she heads to regionals next week,” said coach Scott Dirck.
The Legends Men’s Golf team posted two individual scores in the top 10 and a fourth place team finish at the U-Mary Fall Golf Invitational on Sunday and Monday, Sept. 26 and 27.
Jayme French tied for eighth golfing a 78 in round one and a 73 in round two for a final of 151. Teammate Connor Josephson was close behind with a 76 and a 77 for 153.
Lukas Justesen finished 15th with a 159, Evan Dietz was in 17th with a 162, Hunter Brunkow was 24th with 172, Caden Chromy finished 25th with 176, Gannon Lueck placed 28th with 181 and Noah Cunningham placed 29th with 183.
Legends Golf continues its fall season with regionals in October.
