Students: Get vaccinated or boosted by March 31 for your shot at prizes!

Jan 10, 2022 | 10:55 AM
Students who show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination obtained between Nov. 2 and March 31 will receive a $100 VISA card AND will be entered to win an Xbox Series S, Apple AirPods or an Apple Watch.

We continue to encourage students to get vaccinated, to help keep our campus community safe, and keep learning in-person.

To show proof of vaccination, go to Student eServices, select COVID-19 Attestation on the left menu, select "Participate in college/university identified extra-curricular activity" (if you don't live in Foundation Hall), and follow instructions to upload your vaccination card.  If you live in Foundation Hall, please select "Live in residence hall."  For those who upload proof of full vaccination between Nov. 2 and March 31, their $100 VISA gift card will be available at the Business Office window beginning Monday, April 11.

How do I qualify as "fully vaccinated?"

  • Receive one-dose Johnson & Johnson Janssen vaccine between the dates of November 2 and March 31
  • Receive first and second doses of Moderna or Pfizer vaccines between the dates of November 2 and March 31.  Please note the timing below and plan accordingly:
    • Moderna requires at least 28 days between first and second dose
    • Pfizer requires at least 21 days between first and second doses
  • If you received your first dose of Moderna or Pfizer vaccines prior to November 2, receive your second dose between November 2 and March 31.
  • Receive a COVID-19 booster shot, if you are eligible for a booster.

Due to rising case rates in Minnesota, our current requirement to wear face coverings in indoor public spaces will remain in place for now.  Face coverings are an important tool in preventing the spread of COVID-19 and the new variants. Please continue to "mask up," especially in hallways and public spaces and help us keep our campus community safe!

We encourage you to take advantage of the free COVID test kits that are available on campus at the main entrance and north entrance. Test kits can also be picked up at the business office. Even if you do not have symptoms, these free COVID-19 testing opportunities will help protect our campus community.
