College Reps and Carpentry Students Celebrate Habitat for Humanity Legends Build
Alexandria Technical and Community College Carpentry Students and school officials gathered with volunteers from the Habitat for Humanity of Douglas County organization to bless the Legends Build project home on September 19, Alexandria Minn.
During the blessing ceremony, students were able to write encouraging messages on the studs of the framework that the homeowners can enjoy for years to come.
The Legends Build is a result of Alexandria College’s renewed partnership with the Habitat for Humanity of Douglas County. This opportunity gives Alexandria College Carpentry Students the ability to receive hands on training while giving back to the local community.
