Legends Volleyball Team Prepares for National Championship

After a remarkable second season, the Legends Volleyball team is headed to the NJCAA Division III National Championship. A celebration and send-off is planned for Tuesday, November 7 at 4:00 pm.

The Alexandria Technical and Community College Legends Volleyball team earned a slot in the 2023 NJCAA Division III Volleyball Championship in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, starting November 9.

A team send-off celebration is planned for 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7, in the north parking lot of the college. Join us to celebrate their trip to Nationals and wish them good luck!

The Legends won eight straight games to close out their season. They will enter the 16-team, single-elimination championship tournament ranked 5th in the nation for digs per set with 23.24 and hold the 12th seed position.

The Legends will take on Fulton-Montgomery (5) on November 9 at 3:00 p.m. The winner will move on to face the winner of the Monroe-Bronx (4) and Northampton (13) game.
