As of April 4, 2024, the Department of Education has indicated they will continue to send small batches of FAFSAs to schools and will gradually increase the volume over a series of weeks. ATCC currently anticipates being able to process FAFSA data beginning in May.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) continues to have delays caused by the major changes to the 2024-2025 FAFSA. We understand this is frustrating, and we appreciate your patience. This delay impacts all colleges and universities across the country, so rest assured you are not alone. The Department of Education (DOE) tracks known issues online; you can access this list and additional information in the "Resources" section at alextech.edu/FAFSA24. We will continue to update this page as information becomes available.

As of April 4, 2024, the DOE has indicated they will continue to send small batches of FAFSAs to schools and will gradually increase the volume over a series of weeks. Tentatively, the timeline is as follows:

  • Mid- March: DOE began releasing FAFSA data gradually in batches to ATCC.
  • Beginning Mid-April: Students should be able to make corrections to their 2024-2025 FAFSA if needed.
  • Early May: ATCC anticipates being able to process FAFSA data as it is received.
  • Early June: Student notifications regarding additional information requests and financial aid offer letters should start being sent.

To ensure you have the strongest consideration for financial aid, you should complete your 2024-2025 FAFSA as soon as possible. This ensures your information is on file once ATCC is able to begin processing. You can complete your application at studentaid.gov.

Please continue to monitor studentaid.gov for important updates.
