Mantra Health will assess each student’s needs to ensure the platform is suitable. If telehealth or outpatient services are not the best fit due to specific diagnoses or needs better suited for in-person care, Mantra will refer students to local clinicians. Students may self-refer by creating an account at www.mantrahealth.com/mnstate.
These resources are an addition to, not a replacement for, the services already available through Alexandria College’s Counseling Services. The campus counselor is here to support students and can assist in connecting them with community providers if needed. Mantra Health is also available for after-hours care and crisis intervention.
Alexandria College encourages all students to use this resource whenever needed to support their mental health. These services complement Alexandria College’s existing counseling services, ensuring students can access a wide range of mental health support options. Whether during office hours or after hours, students will have the tools and care they need to prioritize their mental well-being.
"This initiative is an amazing resource for our students," said Julie Trosvig, Alexandria College’s on-campus mental health counselor. "Having 24/7 access to professional mental health care and peer support means our students can get help when they need it most. Whether they're online learners or on campus, this program reduces barriers to receiving care."
All Alexandria College students are encouraged to use these resources whenever needed to support their mental wellness.
