Machine Tool Technology represents one of today's most promising career fields, combining the precision of advanced CNC machining with the satisfaction of hands-on manufacturing.

This dynamic discipline sits at the heart of modern industry, where skilled technicians transform raw materials into everything from aerospace components to medical devices using cutting-edge computer-controlled equipment.

Excellence in Education

Our Machine Tool Technology program consistently demonstrates its quality through outstanding performance in SkillsUSA competitions, regularly winning awards that reflect both student achievement and program excellence. These national competitions validate that our graduates enter the workforce with skills that meet and exceed industry standards, making them highly sought after by employers.

Making Quality Education Affordable

Thanks to the generous support of the Gene Haas Foundation, pursuing a career in Machine Tool Technology has never been more accessible. The Foundation's mission is to introduce and educate individuals for manufacturing technologies, specifically CNC Machining, and their impact has been transformative.

Since 1999, the Gene Haas Foundation has invested over $275 million in manufacturing education through scholarship grants, competition team sponsorships (including SkillsUSA, FIRST® Robotics, and SAE), teacher training programs, and community grants. In 2024 alone, they distributed over $32 million in grants, demonstrating their ongoing commitment to strengthening manufacturing education.

At ATCC, we're proud to partner with the Gene Haas Foundation to provide a $1,000 scholarship to every first-year student in our Machine Tool program. To date, ATCC has received grants totaling $247,000, directly reducing financial barriers and making quality technical education accessible to motivated students.

Gratitude and Congratulations

Congratulations to our new Machine Tool Technology students who are starting their fall semester with Gene Haas Foundation scholarships in hand! You're beginning an exciting journey in one of today's most dynamic and rewarding fields, and we're proud to support you every step of the way. Here's to a successful semester and bright futures in precision manufacturing.
