Alexandria College Comm. Design Students earn spots in BPA nationals.

Students from Alexandria College’s Communication Design program earned their spots in the national Business Professionals of America (BPA) competition in Chicago.

The seven students qualified for nationals by competing in the BPA State Leadership Summit at Dakota County Technical College, Rosemount, Minn., February 22-23, 2024.

The BPA is one of the leading career technical student organizations for students pursuing careers in accounting, business management, office administration, information technology and other related career fields. The organization has more than 51,000 members in over 2,300 chapters in 23 states.

The students took top rankings in a number of categories: Graphic Design Promotion, Fundamental Desktop Publishing, Advanced Desktop Publishing, Digital Communication Concepts, Digital Marketing Concepts, Financial Math and Analysis Concepts, Fundamentals of Web Design, and Interview Skills.
