Alexandria Technical and Community College Students Competed at International DECA Conference

Students from the Accounting, Business Management and Marketing programs at Alexandria Technical and Community College competed at the DECA International Career Development Conference April 18 - 22, 2026. Eleven students competed.
Results: 
  • ATCC was awarded a top 10-chapter award ranking in the top 3 at #3 in the world. 
  • ATCC was the only chapter in Minnesota to be awarded the Leadership Passport Award 
  • Myles Frueh was awarded an individual passport award  
  • Myles Frueh was elected Collegiate DECA Division Vice President for 2026-2027 
Eleven students competed in 15 different events 
  • Lexi Usher (event – Professional Sales) was one of only six Minnesota DECA students that made it to finals in their event category 

Collegiate DECA is a smaller, specialized division of DECA Inc. consisting of over 4,300+ members across 200+ college campuses. 

Competitive events supported by DECA propel winners from local to state levels and finally to the international level. The success, confidence, recognition and awards that students earn in this program are crucial to their success in business careers. 

DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.
