Alexandria Technical & Community College's Veterans Services and Admissions team took their outreach on the road this April, attending education fairs at Minot Air Force Base and Fort Snelling to connect with active-duty service members and share the educational opportunities available through ATCC.
During the events, the ATCC team shared information about academic programs, support services, and the college’s involvement in the Global Military Learning Network (GMLN), an initiative focused on expanding access to education for military-connected students.

On April 15, Veteran Student Project Coordinator Braiden Mincey attended alongside Admissions representative Austin Becker, connecting with service members and discussing pathways to further their education through ATCC. On April 17, Veterans Students Programs Specialist Macy Trousil joined Becker to present at Fort Snelling, continuing outreach efforts and highlighting available resources.

In addition to speaking with service members, the team had the opportunity to network with representatives from other institutions, building relationships and exploring potential partnerships to expand participation in GMLN.

These events provided valuable opportunities to strengthen ATCC’s presence within the military community while supporting service members in planning their educational futures.
