POLICY STATEMENT

Alexandria Technical and Community College’s administrative structure is organized to accomplish the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The college’s administrative structure may occasionally change in order to adapt to changing conditions, to serve the best interests of students, employees, the community, and for optimal operation of the college.

President

The President is charged with providing overall leadership to the college.

President’s Cabinet

The President’s Cabinet (PC) advises the President and has a critical role in the college’s planning and decision-making process to include development and oversight for policies and procedures, staffing, budget, business operations, and program management. PC consists of the following individuals:

  1. President
  2. Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs
  3. Vice President of Advancement & Outreach/Executive Director of Foundation
  4. Chief Financial Officer
  5. Chief Human Resources Officer
  6. Assistant to the President/ Director of Office Services (Commissioner’s Plan)
Leadership Council

Leadership Council (LC) is a consultative body that shares information, discusses issues, seeks consensus, oversees policies and procedures of the college, business operations, program management, and provides recommendations to the PC. LC is composed of the following individuals:

  1. President
  2. Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs
  3. Chief Financial Officer (Business Office, Student Activities, Campus Store, & Facilities)
  4. Vice President of Advancement & Outreach/Executive Director of Foundation
  5. Dean of Educational Services (Business, Technology, IT, Financial Aid & Registration)
  6. Dean of Educational Services (LE, Manufacturing, & Transportation)
  7. Dean of Educational Services (Nursing, Support Services, & Diversity)
  8. Dean of Educational Services (AA, Design, Transfer, Counseling, PSEO, & Library)
  9. Chief Human Resources Officer (HR & Senior College)
  10. Director of Admissions and Recruiting (MMA)
  11. Director of Marketing & Communications (MMA)
  12. Director of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (MAPE)

In Absence of the President

The numbered list of administrators (1-9 only) in LC shall apply, in descending format. For the purposes of administrator-in-charge, the aforementioned list reflects who is in charge in absence of the President.
