ATCC students in SOCS 1400: Introduction to Sociology participated in the 17th Annual Take a Stand Against Domestic Violence event last October. The event created awareness with a display of signs followed by dinner and a survivor's testimony.
ATCC students in SOCS 1400: Introduction to Sociology learned about the Clothesline Project during Domestic Violence Awareness Month last October. The Clothesline Project is a visual memorial to the past year’s victims of intimate partner homicide.
