Cisco Blogs featured Amanda in a recent post titled See Yourself in Cyber: Secure your future with cybersecurity skills. The post highlighted cybersecurity professionals from a variety of backgrounds who had completed the Cisco Networking Academy.
"Amanda was a 2022 graduate of the Cybersecurity, Virtualization, & Networking (CVN) program and captain of our Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition team during her time here," said Logan Martinez, CVN Instructor. "We utilize the Cisco Networking Academy curriculum in our core classes to help train students on the services they'll be troubleshooting and working with in the field."
After graduation, Amanda went on to attain Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate certification.

Amanda graduated from the Alexandria Technical & Community College with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Cybersecurity, Virtualization, and Networking.
Having achieved the Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate certification, Amanda was offered a job right away as a Cybersecurity Analyst.
