Where to Play and Exercise

Gymnasium

Location: Room 120; main building

The gym is home to Legends Volleyball, intramural athletics, and open gym nights, as well as certain special events. The gym may be used for walking or other activities if not in use. If you see equipment or other items out on the floor, odds are the gym is being used.

Location: Room 702; 700 building

The cardio room features various forms of cardio equipment for students to use. It is FREE for all students to use. Hours are Monday-Thursday 6 AM - 9 PM and Friday 6 AM - 4 PM. Hours vary on holidays, breaks, and over the summer.

Strength Training Room

Location: Room 703; 700 building

The strength room features multiple squat racks, free weights, kettlebells, and other weight equipment for students to use. It is FREE for all students to use. Hours are Monday-Thursday 6 AM - 9 PM and Friday 6 AM - 4 PM. Hours vary on holidays, breaks, and over the summer.

Game Rooms

Location: Room 304 (café) and 311; main building

The café game room has a pool table.

The 311 game room has a pool table, ping pong, board games, piano, and a TV.

Sporting Storage

Location: North Parking Lot

Sporting Storage is available for students to securely store large sporting equipment on campus. The drive-in fenced lot is secured by card access, and monitored by cameras.

  • 6' x 20' spot is $25 per semester (suggested for snowmobiles, ATVs, motorcycles, or scooters)
  • 12' x 20' spot is $50 per semester (suggested for boats, fish houses, or sporting equipment on trailers)

Visit the Business Office in the 100 wing of the main building (near Door B) or call 320-762-4530 to rent a space.

ATCC Veterans Center

Veterans Center

Location: Room 708; 700 building

The Veterans Resource Center provides a place to study and socialize with fellow veterans. We have a VA representative, Kari Johnson, who comes to campus and answer questions and assist individuals with their military education benefits.

Reflection Room

 

Location: Room 756; upstairs 700 building

The reflection room is a space for personal contemplation, meditation, prayer, and reflection. Its purpose supports the wholeness and humanity that our students, faculty, and staff bring to the college. More than one person can use this space at the same time. Please maintain a quiet atmosphere of respect.

Food Pantry

Jennie's Cupboard is the free food pantry for Alexandria College students in need. Students can get food, self care, and cleaning items at no cost. Students can visit once per week and take up to 10 items during each visit. More about Jennie's Cupboard »
