National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Eligibility
PROCEDURES
Student-Athletes at Alexandria Technical and Community College are NJCAA-eligible based on the rules and policies of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). NJCAA-eligible student-athletes are required to submit proof of an annual approved physical examination and carry health insurance that covers intercollegiate athletic participation.
Student-athletes who are not participating in a sport governed by the NJCAA may be exempt from needing a physical examination or health insurance that covers intercollegiate athletic participation.
All student-athletes, regardless of NJCAA-eligibility, must submit a waiver of liability form before engaging in any sport-related activity (for example: a practice or a game). Additionally, all students may become ineligible to participate in intercollegiate athletics as a result of student code of conduct or other violations.
