Greg Lanners is a graduate of The University of Minnesota at Morris with dual Bachelor Degrees in Elementary Education and Physical Education. Greg received a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Wyoming in Laramie, and is currently working on a second Master's through the Human Performance Dept. at Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Greg has certification from the NSCA (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) and USA Weightlifting (Level I) as well as being a certified Minnesota high school coach. He was the initial Minnesota State director for the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and served in that role for two years.

His professional history includes 12 years of college strength and conditioning coaching experience: 7 years at the University of Minnesota, 2 years at the University of Wyoming, and three years at Southwest Minnesota State University. Greg also has 18 years of service in education as a physical education, classroom teacher, and coach in a variety of schools; 3 of those years teaching internationally in Taiwan and Mexico. He was a strength and conditioning coordinator for three school districts; including eight years as director of the District 206 (Alexandria) program. Additionally, Greg worked as a strength and conditioning coordinator for two Junior A Hockey teams in Minnesota and Iowa.

Greg owns and operates Innovative Strength Concepts, a firm that designs and provides fitness related materials and consulting for educational institutions, as well as developing strength and conditioning training programs for athletic teams and individuals of all ages.

Tony Van Acker has been an instructor at ATCC since 2013. In addition to teaching at ATCC, Tony is the Director of Wellness & Activities at Galeon Senior Living in Osakis, MN, where he has been for the last 7 years. While at Galeon, he helped create and grow a Wellness Program for those living on campus and within the community while teaching Yoga, Tai Chi, Arthritis, MS, Group, and Aquatic Exercise classes. His Health and Fitness career started at a 10,000 square foot facility, and has included working in Texas at a large scale Athletic Club, Iowa at a Retirement Home, and Minnesota at Lifetime Fitness. Tony has worked with many different populations from the very young to the old, whether it be teaching swim lessons, designing exercise programs, or participating in evidence-based programs through the Minnesota Department of Public Health.

Tony's educational background includes an undergrad degree in Athletic Training and Fitness, and Master's Degree in Athletic Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse. While at the University, Tony was able to work with athletes of all different levels and sports, as well as the general public. Tony is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), as a Health and Fitness Specialist, The National Swimming Pool Foundation (NSPF) as a Certified Pool Operator, as well as other specialized programs such as Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Exercise, Tai Ji Quan: Moving for Better Balance, and MS Aquatics.
