Each summer, the Law Enforcement Skills program brings students from across the upper Midwest to our campus to learn the hands-on practical skills needed to be a peace officer. This year 74 students received their Law Enforcement Skills Certificate.

More than 600 graduates were honored during the 2021-2022 academic year. The spring commencement ceremony was held May 11, 2022 at the Runestone Community Center in Alexandria.

Alexandria Technical & Community College recognizes individual students for academic excellence. The Dean's List includes students who achieved a GPA of 3.5 or higher while enrolled as a full-time student (12 credits or more).

This year's Scramble for Scholarships Golf Tournament brought more than 150 golfers to Geneva Golf Club on May 25, 2022.

Alexandria Technical & Community College has earned a $2,000 Sport Opportunity Grant from the NJCAA Foundation to support the addition of its Legends Soccer program.

Jack Anderson, a 2022 graduate of the Law Enforcement program, was featured in the Echo Press Talk of the Town podcast, alongside Alexandria Police sergeant Brian Kakach.

Students from several technical programs earned 56 awards in the SkillsUSA Minnesota State Leadership and Skills Conference competition in April.

Eleven students from the Accounting, Business Management and Marketing programs at Alexandria Technical and Community College competed at the DECA International Career Development Conference April 9-12 in Baltimore, Maryland.

Students taking the Intro to World Religions course took a field trip to the Hindu Temple of Minnesota, followed by an authentic Indian meal. Funded by a grant from the Alexandria College Foundation, the field trip provided first-hand experience with cultural and religious diversity.

Alexandria Technical & Community College's chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) international honor society was awarded the Reach Award for excelling in membership development.
